This is a re-blog of a post Lisa did way back in 2006 when Active Rain was just a youngster.
On our Hammersteam A/R Blog we have just passed the 200K mark as well, marking another landmark for us.
The post below is Lisa's post from many years ago but, I have updated it a bit.
Success Is Just A Frame Of MindLisa has been a Realtor since the late 90's and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences we've both ever had. In fact, when I follow the ripple effect, I find there are usually more transactions that result from the success of a single contact. We have listed properties where the listing generated a contact with a buyer that purchased something else and so on and so forth. My husband and I have been a team since the early 2000's when he joined me to form the HammersTeam.
We're in a service business of helping people so as long as we've helped someone and were able to earn a living doing it that counts as a double success in our book! We both feel so blessed by having the ability to work together on a daily basis in assisting others recognizing their dreams of home ownership. We focus on old fashioned customer service when working with our customers. We add the most up to date technology possible and together it has blended to become a marriage of success for our clients. It's a great feeling to help others and we can't imagine doing anything else!
Lisa and I are still in business today and very busy in this wonderful spring market. Homes are listing and selling at a remarkable pace lately.
Thanks to Active Rain we feel so much more connected with the wonderful and giving people we have met here. It has brought us hope and happiness as well when we were down.
