The Pascack Valley area in Bergen County, New Jersey has many great Restaurants to enjoy.  We would like to show you how this landmark of a restaurant has undergone changes through the years.

Located just off the Emerson Golf Course and across from the NJ Transit Train Station.

The town of Emerson in the Pascack Valley area of Bergen County features more than this eatery but we'd like to begin by welcoming one Restaurant that is under new management. It has changed ownership over the years but now is up and running with it's new outdoor canopied porch. You can enjoy your dinner while enjoying the fresh air now.

Below is a shot of the new outdoor dining area that was being worked on last year and is now completed. Look further below for the finished job.

The New Emerson Hotel is located across from the Emerson Train Station on Kinderkamack Road in Emerson. Originally called the ETNA House, it has been on the Emerson Plaza since 1872. It has been a restaurant for the past 60 years. Currently under New Management, the relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by the charming Victorian structure.  It has currently completed having a renovation done to it by adding an outside deck/dining area and ramp for handicap access. The Restaurant/Lounge offers an affordable menu with Live Entertainment most Fridays and Saturdays.  Happy Hour is weekdays 4-6 pm and Weekday Lunch Specials are served from 11:30-3:30 pm.  A 10% Discount off all Lunch entrees for Seniors is available.  The Emerson Hotel is also prepared to Cater all Occasions!

Here is a shot that shows the new updated outdoor dining area completed and ready for the warm weather to arrive so you can dine and enjoy a nights evening of fun.

Now equipped with an outdoor dining facility with a handicap ramp for easy access.

The sign reads Welcome To Emerson! The picuresque Suburban Community of Emerson with it's closely knit population has coined the phrase "The Family Town".  Just like the neighboring communities of the Pascack Valley, Emerson's center revolves around it's transportation link to NYC with a quaint train station.  If the train doesn't take you to your destination, Buses are available on the Main routes.

The small town sits sandwiched between two Golf Courses rendering it one of the most picturesque towns in Bergen County.   Golfers can find Hackensack Country Club on the Soldier Hill side of town while the Emerson Golf Club borders the picturesque Oradell Resevoir.

The tight knit community takes great pride in offering the children of the town a wonderful school system and sports program.

Grammar school begins with Pre-K and goes to 2nd grade at the Memorial School while 3rd - 6th graders attend the Patrick M. Villano.  The Jr./Sr. High School runs from 7th through to 12th grade.

There is a beautiful recreation park for residents to enjoy marked by the borough's 100th Birthday.

The Borough of Emerson has embarked on a Revitalization of the Business District and is slated to open a Stop and Shop and building has begun.  There is also a Senior Housing Complex well under way in the building process.

The town of Emerson in the Pascack Valley section of Bergen County, New Jersey is undergoing an extreme makeover.  The re-deveopment of the downtown area is under way with businesses along the main road of Kinderkamack Road being slated to become a more pedestrian friendly shopping experience in keeping with the town's small-town appeal.  The Stone Ledge Senior Housing complex on Kinderkamack Road just South of Ackerman Road, is well under way and looking like it will be finished in the not so distant future. 

A new Building for the Emerson Pharmacy is also in the early construction phase on the corner of Kinderkamack and Ackerman Road where Dino's Shoe Repair once stood before moving to it's current location on Linwood Avenue.

This is an exciting time for the town and although the plans have not been completely finished, the progress can be seen when driving down Kinderkamack Road.
